Lainie Sadoff
Property Manager
Lainie's interest in property management grew out of her personal experience as director, president and parliamentarian on the Board of her own homeowner association in Encino.  She started Manhattan Management Corporation in 1992 and was instrumental in the development of the San Fernando Valley chapter of the Community Association Institute in 1996. Lainie is committed to helping communities to thrive efficiently, responsibly and harmoniously. Her prior experience was in profefsional counseling.
 
Cookie Valente, CMCA, AMS
Property Manager
Since joining Manhattan Management in 2002, Cookie has been dedicated to understanding the unique needs of each of our communities and to providing all communities with prompt, personalized customer service. She is also responsible for staff education and training.  Cookie previously developed two small businesses, the success of which she attributes to her commitment to providing excellence in customer service.
 
Anet Ibrahim
Customer Service, Office Administrator
Anet has been with Manhattan Management as a customer service representative and office administrator since 2007.   She applies the knowledge she derived previously as a customer service representative for a mortgage company and as an on-site manager for a large community complex to responding to the needs of our homeowner associations in a professional, caring manner.
 
Sandra Teeter
Accounting Manager
Sandra generates monthly financial statements and helps in formulating first budget drafts for our Associations. She previously served as Controller and Assistant Treasurer for several corporations prior to joining Manhattan Management ten years ago. Her experience includes all aspects of financial administration in commercial and residential property management.
 
Lynne Surmeian
Bookkeeper
Lynne has been a vital asset to Manhattan Management since its inception.  She manages monthly billing, monitors homeowners' accounts, prepares monthly reports, responds to billing questions and provides financial information for accounts in escrow.
 
Ralph Ortiz, 
Consultant, Project Management
Ralph oversees many of our Associations' contractual projects from bidding process through project completion.  With over 20 years experience in Southern California, he is an invaluable consultant on construction and renovation projects and on building and safety issues in our communities.
